Homosexuality totally goes against the nature of God and we are made in his image. Hair has nothing to do with going against nature of God. Though it may not be the nicest looking thing on a man doesn't make it wrong. Homosexuallity is an abomination, hair is just hair. I am not a fan of long hair on men, but I do not think it is a sin as like homosexuallity is. JMO

Maybe not that he had "long" as in what your idea of women's hair is "suppose to be," but if his strength lied in his hair and he did all these awesome things then it would stand to reason that his hair was long. Again what is the definition of long? There is none, personal opinion. Samson's parents knew the his strength is tied to his hair and it seems as if he were at least maybe in his late teens early twentys. I know if I did not cut my hair for that length of time my hair would be long, by most people's standards.

But again you can not say he did not have long hair cause length is realtive. That is the argument with the women's hair. You say it has to be uncut, which is not scriptural, and long. The truth is that I know a lady that is a ministers wife and I know she has never cut her hair and her hair is to her shoulders. I know another person that has cut there hair very recently and her hair is to her waist. Length is relative one mans long is another mans short!

Samson and John the Baptist also had long hair.

So, what do you think they cut their hair with back then, Bro? Scissors were invented in Egypt.

Does anyone know at what point in history Samson lived? Is there an estimate on how far BC he lived?

Yes, a scissors is essentially two razors connected together at one end to form a pivot point.

Are you trying to say that since the angel didn't say two razors connected together at one end to form a pivot point could not be used in his hair then it means he got his hair cut?

The bold part may very well be true, but can you support it in scripture? Is God heterosexual? It seems weird even posing the question (and I'd expect an "are you serious?" post for it), but saying that homosexuality goes against God's nature does imply that his nature is the opposite: heterosexual. Especially considering that you added that we are made in His image. Made in his image, therefore we are supposed to be heterosexual.

Or what am I missing?

It is the difference between being baptized in a river versus a lake..... (and yes, I know there are SOME who actually have an opinion on this).

Razor. Scissors. Biting off with the teeth. To try to make a case that the WAY Samson's hair was cut makes a difference, is to rapidly descend into turmoil and confusion where there should not be any.

I can say it is an abomination thus God does not have an abominable nature. Everthing came from God. Homosexuallity is perverse thus it is not in God's nature. IMO
