Question here:

If you use the rule of modesty to apply to this 'standard', or teaching, then what would be wrong with the speaker's conclusion?

If you are wearing pants you are immodest, you would have an immodest spirit. If you have an immodest spirit, it must be to attract male attention. If you are wanting to attract male attention, then you must be sleazy. Final conclusion: the same as the speakers; a w****.

Well, I had ridden a horse in my loose fitting wranglers.

After about an hour I understood why Cowboys wear tight fitting jeans.

The same reason a woman wears a sports bra if the runs alot.
Coop, cowboy cut Wranglers are made roomier in the seat and thigh.

I daresay I have logged a few more hours ahorseback than you, and I never liked tight jeans to ride in.

I thought the church was a hospital to help people find God, not destroy life before it's conceived.
I don't care alot of things people wear but to label somebody something especially when one doesn't know them is mighty small-minded.
Can't the Holy Ghost teach people about Holiness after they receive it ?

This is a good post and brings to mind the tight skirts also.

Final conclusion: Are you trying to attract male attention and act like a *****?

So, the issue is modesty and must be taught.

We need Holiness inwardly and outwardly we must not lose the Biblical concept of Holiness ,but we don't need to be spiritual abortionist who keep folks away from Christ.
For the matter women with skin -tight dresses and skirts and extermely high spike heels can look cheap.
