Gesh, BP, that is the same question. Symantics. If you had a tv channel or radio program your tag line would be "Semantics Anytime, Semantics All the Time."

I agree with you Sheltie. I have spent tons of time speaking with trinitarians about their view of the God head. You are right. I think that many preachers take the stance they do, because if there is good there is evil. So if they deem themselves good and they are oneness then the trinitarians are the opposite. Oneness preachers talk about Trinitarians as if they are ugly duckling or something.

Can you say family reunion! I think it so funny in a negative way how people discount other family memebers and others that do not "see" it the same way. I think that it is straight ups STUPID for someone to effectively ........ someone to hell for not seeing the Godhead or a baptism formula the same way. Plan stupid.

And no one is saying that it doesn't go both ways, it is just discouraging every time that you realize that something that was pounded into your head for your entire life is not true, and all it takes is a civil conversation with the "accused" to find this out.

I have always tried to live my life being as kind as possible to all regardless of the church or belief. Some do actually believe in 3 different Gods and others believe like we do...

Jesus isn't God alone, He's also the "only begotten Son" of God - or do you deny what Jesus said in John 3:16 about God giving His "only begotten Son"?

Can you give me scripture that says God does not care what you think about Him, that you can make Heaven your home without the truth? How about that one can worship a god birthed in paganism and Babylonian mysticism and still make Heaven your home?
This statement proves you don't know what you're talking about.

BTW, when we do this, we disregard Paul's words in Galatians 1:8-9, 2John 9-11, and Revelation 22:18-19. But, what do I know? I mean, I just believe with a sincere conviction that scriptures speaks clearly on these issues. Guess, guess I am too hard.
I wasn't aware that Paul wrote (or was quoted in) 2 John and Revelation in addition to writing Galatians.
