I began coloring my hair about 15 years ago, when the gray became very noticeable. I have a family history of graying very early. I cannot remember my mother without gray hair. I was not ready to be gray and am still not ready. I did ask my husband if he wanted me to stop dying my hair- He said no. I color my hair very close to my original color. I do have to color it about every 3 weeks because of the gray roots. It is not dry or burnt. I use products that condition and replenish my hair. As for a professional doing it- If I walked into a shop and asked a professional to dye my hair- It is over 3 feet long and very thick- after they fainted - they would charge me an arm and a leg.

Hehehehehe! I wanted to nail a man today!!! You happened to have arrived at the right time.

My daughter told me that she has so many women coming into her shop talking about how their husband's left them for younger women. They come in to buy clothes to feel better about themselves. Most of them are rich women and my daughter said they are generally still attractive.

Sometimes, men are just sorry!!!! I have another word, but I can't post it or speak it, but I can think it!!!!

I suppose it affects women in different ways.

If my husband suggested that I needed to dye my hair I would tell him to find someone else.

I wasn't referring to your husband in that statement, understand, just thinking of that when I read your post.

So far, my wife has not had to cross this bridge.... and her hair being uncut for almost her entire life is below her knees.... I suspect any "professional" help will be excluded due to cost, if she ever decides to take that route.

Notice what a woman over 50 does when a camera comes out!!!!!

Also, note the right side of my hair (left on the screen) where my hair is turning white.......it just blends nicely with the darker blond to make it all look lighter - - God's natural highlights!

Also, note laugh lines around the eyes........not wrinkles......laugh lines!

Just glad I'm not a brunette!

So, in your mind you think you would want her to? I see.
