Hi Colby~ Well I can't recall any Disney movie with bad language as a younger person, but I'm a lot, lot older then you.... I can still remember when my parents bought their first color T.V and the guy who set it up for us took a tape measures and told us kids we must sit at lest twelves feet aways, something about radiation, color T.V was a big deal in my days, not many families own one so it was a big deal, kinda like winning the Lotter, lol. The neighbors even came by to view it. So I grew up watching programs like Walton's, Little House On The Prairie, Brady Bunch, Mr Rogers. Maybe your folks might recall Sonny & Cher Show, Kung Fu, these were deemed as adult programs when I was a child, but by todays standards they be viewed as very lame , lol~ Well I think your folks should be proud, you seem very wise for nine .
P.S The last Disney movie I viewed with my children was Land Before Time, my son was about three at the time, he cried when the mommy dinosaur died , he now 22, so it's been awhile, well Colby you take care.....
Its a shame that they would cuss in movies where the main audience is children.
I don't blame Colby. He ought to send in his letter to Disney's CEO.Its about time
children start speaking up for themselves. Its a shame when they have more sense than the adults who are supposed to be examples.
I am so impressed with you and the stand you are taking! I think you should write a letter to Disney like others have mentioned and just let them know how you feel.
Wonder what a difference could be made if everyone that felt like you do spoke up and let it be known. You go Colby!

OK, I would like to thank you all for all your posts and all, but just to say more about the movie, it wasn't something I would expect from a company that has always thought about kids. I will try to send a message to disney telling them all about the movie and how.. unexpected it was.
Colby, you are awesome! It is good to know there are kids your age who have strong ideas about right and wrong. keep it up. You are appreciated brother.

I'm also disappointed with the language factor...moreso than with the death of a main character, actually. Bad language isn't necessary for the story to be told, or to retain "integrity" (how ironic is that perception???).
Colby, your instincts are right on! Disney should be thinking about how to tell the story without tainting impressionable young minds, but instead they are more interested in pushing the boundaries and their own agendas.
I would strongly suggest using www.pluggedinonline.com to preview movies. I usually do, and on this one I didn't, and regretted it.
