I just noticed on the left side of tangerine (if your looking at the list of threads) there are these little pictures ('N's' and the post pic) that are flashing.... sowry I'm not to good at describing stuff.

I'd prefer titles to the picture icons at the top of the red version denoting new posts, calendar, search, etc. I find them distracting with the colors and all.
It needs to be simpler I think. JMO.
I can add Navbars but that distracts from the icons purpose.
Added "Get New Posts" to navbar in Friends Edge

My wife said this works best for her low vision. It was not intentionally high-contrast.
I am still working on the Navigation Bar.
