In the minds of Mexicans, there are no other "immigrants". They are not concerned about "immigrant rights" per say. Rather, they are concerned about "Mexican privilege". Most of my wife's family in Mexico sympathizes with Trump, except for one of my wife's sisters. When I explained to her the truth about the harm illegal immigration causes , she said, "You are probably right, but I will still stand by my race".

She is a racist and does not even realize it. Race trumps law and fairness to other legal immigrants. Race is everything.

Of course, down there they back-stab each other, devour one another. Ah, but when it comes to thumbing their noses at the Gringos, they suddenly become very united.

I go along with the idea of letting people stay here who have come illegally in the past, as long as they are obeying the rules today.

Fine them and get them legal. $500.00, to a $1000.00, get them in the system legally.

But, if they commit a felony.... ship them out the next day! Period! No playing around!

Soccer mom, etc and etc,... if they commit a felony then this is part of the price. They get to go home and live the rest of their life there.

Mexico is such a failed experiment.... they need to either get their act together so their people will want to stay home! That is the real problem here.

People talk about Mexican Pride.... for what?

Continual civil war? The amount of drugs that you can pass through your country? Brutality and rape? A currency that is worthless?

Mexican pride! Then stay in Mexico!

I think I read where according to ICE 50% of all illegals are from Asia, mainly China and India. Plus a lot of the illegals sneaking across the border are military aged males from various ME and African countries.
