he is getting what he deserves.he was a perverted money lover and i dont care if people get upset for me badmouthing this guy, he did a great deal of damage to the faith, destroyed lives and mislead masses.

I think you are correct, Mike. If the man has died lost, I think the man is worm food until he is raised in the resurrection of the unjust. He will then, after that, of course, again be "worm" food, forever. Eternal destruction from the presence of the Lord is no joke!

I don't really understand why people here are getting so bent out of shape about this guy. I mean its not like he was one of ours, he was a trinitarian baptist that happened to also be a pedophile...big deal, they are a dime a dozen. What he did was a horror to the people he violated, but he was a complete outsider to Christ and was little better or worse than, say, Billy Graham; neither man had a chicken's-chance-in-Thailand of making it to heaven without the Blood and the Holy Ghost, so what am I missing? I get that he was a bad guy...but aren't they all bad, aren't they all as worthless as a used menstrual rag, just to varying degrees? Why is everyone taking his case so personally? Is this outpouring of condemnation motivated by envy, since "mega-church pastors" are some of the richest and most influential religious figures in the modern world?
And for those pooh-poohing death bed conversions - the thief on the cross. Which of us would not trade places with him in an instant now, if we could? Be honest.

That is death in the grave, but then the grave is cast into the lake of fire in Revelation 20:10-14. Prior to the lake of fire it was sleep, decay, and worm food, yet at the time of the lake things get warm.
