Re: The Bird Is The Word

All of you are taking me far too seriously. I'm being poetic. I'm a Berniecrat who pinched his nose and voted Hillary over Trump. But buddy, let me tell you, from God or not, when that little bird landed on the podium it was a remarkably inspiring moment for us Bernie supporters. Some people even began to praise God right there in the crowd. Bernie even commented on the symbolism it could hold. And it wasn't "Elect Me". It was a humble and loving statement, "No more wars."

Kind of hard not to, when you make comments like:

Why would you take a comment so seriously? Let's look at it analytically. I said:

Facts:
1.) Some people did praise God and felt exceptionally inspired by the moment. Is that so wrong?

2.) Bernie did relate to the event by remarking how it seemed fittingly symbolic.

3.) Bernie's statement regarding the possible symbolism was one of peace and humility.
Why would that make anyone in their right mind freak out? Must everyone agree with you? Can you conceptualize how something might be moving or very inspiring for another, although it may not move or inspire yourself?

I mean, all that's really necessary to say is, "Yes, I can see how Bernie supporters might find the event symbolic or moving. Although, not being a Bernie supporter, it wasn't relevant to me at all."

Praising God, because a bird landed on the podium of a politician? No, I can't understand that at all.

Did Aquila post how the bird left its droppings on Bernie's head?

He was anointed by the bird.

Why? Interesting how you and the Bernie crowd are too superstitious.

I see that really gave it credibility in your mind?

Aquila? It seems like you are slipping into darkness.

No, Bernie said that the bird represented a dove, but it wasn't a dove. Sorry, but it was a dud.

Or better yet the bird land on DT's and HRC's lectern and then "flip".

Re: The Bird Is The Word

No More Wars = a Biblical idea that can only be accomplished by the Prince of Peace when He returns. THEN they will beat their swords into plow shares and their spears into pruning hooks.

Man is incapable of achieving world peace.
