It does compare because you are using the concept that the lack of brainwaves means the lack of life.

That is simply not true, as demonstrated, scientifically.

So, you have a baby growing, but you don't consider growth as a sign of life?

You have scientific anecdotes confirming situations where there is a prolonged lack of brain activity, but the human was still found to be alive and able to recover-- but that does not dispel your notion that brain activity is a requirement for life?

At this point, you are not making sense.

The only argument left to make is that the baby is not human until a certain point in the pregnancy-- but that argument won't stand either.

People have the right to their opinions-- correct or incorrect. I would just like you to just say, "Well I believe what I believe and that's it, " or "I believe what I believe and here is why."

When is "it" alive.
Staunch pro-abortion believers only believe it is alive when it is born AND is wanted. If it is born, but unwanted then termination is ok.
Staunch anti-abortion believers think that it is alive when the sperm and egg join. Thus, some pregnancy preventing medications would qualify as abortion because they prevent the fertilized eggs implantation into the uterine wall.
I am a little simpler. I believe that when you can detect "life", then it is alive.

You are mistaken. At 6 wks brain waves can be detected.

But let's stick to what the Bible says, because that's ultimately what will judge all.

The Bible says life is in the blood. In an unborn baby, the heart begans beating within 18 days of conception. And within 21 days of conception, the heart begins pumping blood.

So per the Bible, the baby is a living being at 3 wks from conception.
