Nope not one thing about being profitable for reading future events!
We are to study scripture for those things that help us live a right life unto Christ.
Sean seems to think we are to study in order to determine the end of the world or some such nonsense. Fulfilled eschatology simply put all that end time nonsense behind us and live towards spreading the kingdom of God through the love of Christ. Not propagating fear through some last days destruction.

The way preterists dismiss the majority of the words of Jesus, saying they are not relevant to them, from Matthew to the end of the book of Revelation must be very depressing....LOL
