Isnt he being merciful to those who walk in error about this? Would he be justified in cutting them off today if he chose? But just think....many Apostolics teach various false doctrines and the Lord doesnt seem to have cut them off......yet.

Does he not delight in mercy even as he delights in truth? Peradventure some may turn from their heresies and come into the fullness of his light!

Yet its true. The clock is ticking for all. Jesus calls us to walk in agreement with HIM in all things!

I believe that everyone (who has the Holy Ghost, not the phony Ghost) is growing in grace and knowledge to all truth. Because the scripture states the Spirit of Truth will guide you into all Truth. So, just like Apostolickitty posted, she wanted truth and the Lord Jesus brought it to her.

But, the doctrine of "forgiveness" will put more eschatologists in a lake of fire more than not having the right eschatology.

The whole package is what we all need.

Yes, or no?

I believe full preterists will be destroyed in Gehenna fire. As in this.

16But shun profane and vain babblings: for they will increase unto more ungodliness. 17And their word will eat as doth a canker: of whom is Hymenaeus and Philetus; 18Who concerning the truth have erred, saying that the resurrection is past already; and overthrow the faith of some. 2 Tim. 2:16-18

This doctrine is every bit as false as Trinity. But God is merciful to those who repent and go his way.

Pre tribs? Dom, look at it this way. Just because one calls himself "Apostolic" that does not give them a pass.

Any heretical doctrine could have eternal consequences. A Oneness can go to Hell same as a Trin.

NOW.....can people be in error because they have been taught wrong? Maybe they dont have a Bible? I know I was wrong about practically every thing.

Does God give his Spirit to those who seek him? Does it automatically give them all the truth? Well if one is blessed enough to get saved in a Church that DOES have all the truth they can learn quickly!

In our day and age that is very, very rare.

Most of the time today it would seem the Lord is guiding us into all truth.

And yet if he does judge straight down the line according to what is written we must be sure to have an ear to hear the truth when it comes our way.

A man that is an heretick after the first and second admonition reject; 11Knowing that he that is such is subverted, and sinneth, being condemned of himself. Titus 3:10

By strict interpretation one gets two admonitions to accept truth when they hear it. God is not obligated to go beyond that is he?

If a Trinitarian with the Holy Ghost can be lost for refusing truth an Apostolic can be lost for refusing truth.

Let us all be quick to hear!
