True, thats why I only suggest it to those that are looking for answers to a struggling prayer life.

Some folks absolutely CANNOT access the internet, but kinda can watch TV that I know.

Amen. I meant potentially. The potential for evil is far worse with internet than TV. Far worse.

Re: Watching TV?

Walking in the Spirit would cause one to carefully consider what entertainments they choose. Follow the Spirit in all things, keep all things in a spiritual perspective. Try to abstain from any entertainment that exploits or degrades your fellow man.

Rules are not a away to live since they bypass the need to walk after the Spirit. It's like rules are a replacement for walking after the Spirit.

Re: Watching TV?

Rules are not for those who walk in the Spirit, but for those who don't. Without rules how can you identify whether another person is a child of God or not? If someone isn't walking in the Spirit it shows by their fruit and that means they are disobeying the rules. A person who walks in the Spirit isn't going to need those rules because he/she will always take the high road. When Paul says we are not under the law he means that the law isn't what governs are life, but the Spirit of God. Which of course, keeps the moral part of the law, but it brings light upon the the motivation. We don't need the law when we have the heart of the giver of the law.
