hey, i love the place. i go there to visit, and eat. but they live next to their neighbors only tolerably, the 'borders' are problem areas, etc.

move to Watts, if you're white, or Chinatown, if you're black, and then get back to me on that 'chunky smoothie' lol. 'Melting pot' is just another lie perpetrated upon us for imperial gain. Now, this doesn't mean that perhaps this is not in God's will--the next generation usually melts in...losing their heritage in the process. But also becoming more tolerant of others. i can live anywhere, personally.

I fully agree. My daughter's school did an international day and over 30 countries were represented there (next year 31 cuz England and Scotland were separate so it will be USA and Texas next year cuz if they can do it we can do it lol). You wont find that in the US unless the court issues a desegregation order and after they do nobody is happy anyway. Groups in the US tend to gravitate together, not really the mix one sees when other groups live together in other parts of the world.

Just because some people don't know how to integrate into society, doesn't mean it's not possible.

a very good point. it is possible, with much adjustment, and commitment. How probable it is is another story, and i would even go as far as to suggest--strongly--that the Gov policies are largely designed to keep cultures distrustful of each other, even within the borders that they refuse to guard. We talk melting pot, and then put up a for sale sign when the first minority moves into the hood; and this is just a socially accepted symptom, of many.

Yes the uneducated might, but look on most applications for government assistance or services.

Let's take an example on racial demographics from Pierson, Fl, a very small incorporated town in central Florida. In the early 80's a huge influx of Mexican migrant workers began to move to Pierson. Now you can be in Pierson for 30 minutes before you see an American....

Pierson is a town in Volusia County, Florida, United States. The population was 1,736 at the 2010 census.[3]

Pierson bills itself as the "Fern Capital of the World". The town is heavily reliant on agriculture which mainly consists of fern growing. Its ferns are exported worldwide for use in floral arrangements and other decorations.

The racial makeup of the town was 81.93% White, 4.93% African American, 0.27% Native American, 0.08% Asian, 11.48% from other races, and 1.31% from two or more races.

Almost 82% white! wow! That's allot of Anglo Saxons and Germanic peoples, right? Wrong. Look at the next line....

Hispanic or Latino of any race were 62.44% of the population.

Notice that Hispanics were not listed initially in the racial demographics. Why? Because they are part of that 82% that is white. In fact, they are considered to make up the majority of the white population. Sure, many have very brown skin, but so do allot of Italians who are also classified as white.

But it does not stop with Hispanics. People from the middle east (including Jews) and north Africa are also classified as white.

So this video posted is of a racial attack against a white person by a gang of persons of African descent, an all too common occurrence in these United States.

We enjoyed a lot of amusement on the Zimmerman issue where it became clear that no matter what happens to a black person or who does it white people are somehow responsible.

Seems protesting over in the Hispanic part of town isnt something the black community wanted any part of, at least in Houston. Don't blame em. I wouldnt go over there and make trouble or block traffic either. No future in it.

I was not disagreeing actually, as Hispanics dont get a vote in how they are classified. Just pointing out that they often resent being lumped in with us.
