And here in lies the crux of the matter!! Not to worry though, I do not place the blame entirely on Obama (not that I like him any way). The Moderate Bush did indeed have a part in the debt. Congress and the last two administrations have put us into this mess. CIA economic analysis predict that the debt will bubble and we will become essentially bankrupt as a nation. I don't remember BLAMING Bush for the economy as much as I do remember defending Obama in saying that the bad economy was not his fault and that the problems we were facing as a country economically didn't begin on Obama's watch and wouldn't be fixed right away.

He took office in '08 and people were blaming him for not fixing the economy in '09. People were criticizing his stimulus actions and other efforts to address what was going on. I defended Obama but not by blaming Bush as much by trying to point out how asinine it was to blame Obama for world hunger and everything else that was going on back then.

NY Post: "Stock market rigging is no longer a ‘conspiracy theory’"

With stock prices rushing far ahead of economic reality over the last six or so years, more experts in the financial markets are coming to the same conclusion — even if they don’t fully understand how it’s being rigged or the consequences.

Ed Yardeni, a longtime Wall Street guru who isn’t one of the clowns of the bunch, said flat out last week that the market was being propped up. “These markets are all rigged, and I don’t say that critically. I just say that factually,” he asserted on CNBC.

Yardeni’s claim is the most basic one: that the Federal Reserve won’t do anything that will upset Wall Street and, in fact, is doing all it can to help the stock market.

Okay, so the markets are rigged. Basically everyone now agrees on that. But should we care?

America was built on capitalism and free and fair markets. Today’s markets aren’t fair. In fact, they are unfair because they are putting lots of money into the pockets of a small number of Americans.

The bigger problem is this: If stock prices are artificially inflated, nobody can tell what a company is really worth. And banks are going to be hesitant to lend money to companies with fuzzy valuations.

nice. that bottom assessment is really irrelevant, to the guy on the street, or the small business owner who can't get a loan at any legit interest rate. When this knowledge becomes widespread, the next thing to realize is that gold is being artificially depressed compared to $--tho not BRIC currencies--and convert $ to gold, if you got 'em.
