We can also look at it as 70% of Republicans do NOT want Jeb. But we will have to beat him in the primaries. And the fact that 69% of Republicans want a candidate that can beat Hillary should cause great concern for any establishment candidates who obviously always lose.

In politics, no doesn't always mean no, even to honest politicians like Romney. Actually though, if you read Romneys recent language, it is not as solid no, as it was. If Bush falters, Romney will almost definitely step up.
The press will try to prop up Bush, but we'll see how far that goes.

There are other recent polls showing Romney ahead of other GOP candidates, including Jeb Bush.

I doubt there would be a Romney/Rand or Rand/Romney pairing. The two disagree on too much and neither would win the conservative base.

As this unfolds, it appears the GOP powers which be are going to do their worst to push either Bush or Romney as the GOP candidate. If this happens, Hillary or Warren will win.

For the GOP establishment, winning the White House is an added blessing but it is not really their primary goal. Their goal, first and foremost, is to work with the Democrat establishment to make sure the Federal Reserve maintains its stranglehold on the American people. If that means they have to offer up a weak candidate that they know will lose, then that is a small price to pay for these traitors. The status quo MUST be preserved. This is also why they will never support a candidate who will push to abolish the income tax and IRS. Our current tax code is the vehicle the Federal Reserve uses to keep us all slaves.

It doesn't really matter that he has jumped into the race early. He is going to have a huge problem standing on the side of Common Core which turns the government into a "national school board". He might get away with the amnesty view.

Besides, his numbers are not even as high as his father or GW at this point when they declared.

He is also on record studying how he can win without the conservative vote. Good luck with that. LOL!

The only thing I would be wary of is that he comes out, thus far, not flip-flopping like Romney did. Even if people don't agree with his views, they will respect that he is not a flip-flopper.
