If somebody thinks that someone else is in danger there is no choice. It has to be reported. It is the right thing to do and it is the Law.

I'm sorry to hear that the situation is so difficult and terrible that the authorities are now involved. I'll be continuing to pray for you Jacob that the Lord protects you, and brings the best outcome for you in the end. Whatever JD did, he must have felt concerned enough to take the steps he did.

My heart goes out to you. I imagine you feel very scared right now, and angry. Only one thing I know that works at times like this is to read the scriptures, Psalms is a good place to go. Try to read some scripture, and find comfort, and direction for the moment. Your life is in the hand of the Lord, and He cares about where you are right now, even though it seems this has taken a turn you weren't expecting, and were trying to avoid.
