I guess that all depends. I've heard some preachers that are loud w/ annointing, and I've heard some that were loud w/out annointing.

One night a pastor was saying "you can't go around cussin' all week and come in on Sunday expecting to find God"

Someone behind us said... "Uhm... that's good."

I thought.. Uh... was that a shocker to you? Did you find that profound and life changing.

perhaps they were convicted that they couldnt find God after cussin all week

Yes sir...

I am a teacher myself... and it does seem that our church culture is geared away from a steady, methodical expository of the word of God.

I work very hard to keep it all interesting and I relate well with people but it does seem that we are geared to want to see someone run and shout whether the message measures up to the hype or not.

That's what I was thinking...It's the anointing.... I've heard many preach up a storm and not really ever raise their voices...

I think one reason some get soo much out of a service and then someone else is looking around like "what happen" is because they need in one's life at that moment. Now, I can get something out of most every service, but not every service is for me. I may not be needing a message about breaking the chains of bitterness or depression, but my brother or sister may be struggling with it and that message is for them.... They may break out in a HolyGhost fit or end up running to the altar.... I may need a boost in my faith while someone else is soaring high... that service will affect me differently like it would someone else....

But then again, I can sit hear and listen to 3 or 4 messages a night. I never get tired of anointed preaching.!
It was awsome as he always is. Bats 100% all the time I don't like him.
