Just not interested based on content and seceduling. The only way I would ever consider subscribing to anything would be an "on demand" type service similar to the Internet. I absolutely can't stand a program dictating when and how I live real life.
Maturity in decision making was never the normal in legalistic circles.

Thus the invention of the DVR.

We hardly ever watch anything as it is being broadcast.

Watching BBQ PITMASTERS as I type this. I really like hearing the BBQing tips that the three judges give as they're watching the contestants.

Man, am I hungry!

Re: Is TV now the norm in the UPCI home?

A few years ago when I was the men's leader at my old church I invited the PAW pastor from across the street to come over and fellowship and bring a devotion and a word during a men's all-night prayer meeting.

Sunday morning during the leadership prayer and service plan meeting we were all told that we could not as a church fellowship with them because they watched cable TV and the women did not keep the standards.

I knew people in the church that had cable tv and watched it but nothing was ever said that I am aware of.

Whew!

It just seems that that there is a whole lot to preach for, and my list doesn't even scratch the surface.

But ya know, this is just me...as I say, I am not a preacher.
Right. This is how Moderates do it
