Thank God they don't teach on sex.I don't want to hear wierdness over the pulpit. No thankyou.I have heard pastors preach in the main Sunday school class against things like oral sex.Sorry but I wanted to crawl under the pew.
I don't need church for that.We have been married over twenty years and have children I figure we don't need lesson.lol...BTW I don't want them teaching my children sex either.I am their mother. Most churches have premarital counseling classes.
We have taught them.I forget the workbook and what its called right now
but its good.More churches in my opinion don't need to teach more about
sex but about denying the flesh and living for God.Most divorces come about as a result of not denying self will.Just a thought.

BTW Big Sexy Hair?????

I'm not a fan of alot of so-called Christian Television because most of it is not sound doctrine. But there was a guy on Daystar yesterday teaching on this , on The Joni Lamb show was a doing a good job teaching.

I see nothing filth in a loving married sexual relationships. I teach my own children who are all young adults now, that sex is good and to be enjoyed with their partner. It's not dirty or wrong to want to engage with your married partner, it's healthy and normal to feel these emotions.

Since marriage is God ordained I can't see why Christian churches shouldn't teach on the subject of intimacy in marriage according to the Bible.
ACTS 2:38 is a good foundation but if that's all we know ,we aren't eating a heatly diet of Biblical subjects.

Honestly, I do believe there is a place for this since there are so many that come in out of the world and maybe don't know that some of what they did BC just isn't accepteble with God.
This should NOT be done over the pulpit in mixed crowds. It can be done in husband/wife groups.
We recently had a seminar with Bro James Hughes (excellent teacher). He taught on relationships and other things. He also spoke about sex: what it is and isn't. It got a bit uncomfortable with some, but I was glad to see things being addressed in a godly way. (There were NO children allowed to these meetings. Just married couples. No singles either.)
Singles often have the option of premarital counseling. I highly reccomend it since it helps to open lines of communication that may take some time to open after marriage.
Anyway, these are my thoughts...
