Bro. Kirk was a fine Christian man!! I met him and even went to a few serviced while I pastored just a few miles from the church you attended!! As a matter of fact, I happened to have one of the young ladies in my church marry as evangelist who was preaching for him. This evangelist and I are best friends to this day and he was an independent!

Jesus said "If you know someone has ought against you, leave your gift at the alter and go to them......." Maybe ya'll need to call on these folks and have a heart to heart.............Just a suggestion.

Are they UCs? What is Sherri's church considered?
It's no matter really, if it is unmerited, then there is nothing to be concerned about, their prayers will not be considered.

Yes that evangelist has been doing well as a Pastor ,I know this couple of whom you speak.

I agree. It is ironic that my children both go to an ALJC church today. Bro. Kirk is a wonderful man.
