And for those of you who are doubting...you should watch a movie called, 'Red Dawn'. The 2012 version was extremely interesting! It used to be on youtube, but not sure if it still is.
I remember the original Red Dawn movie back in the 80's with Patrick Swayze. I plan on getting watching the new one soon.

"We did not wear uniforms. The lady workers dressed in the current fashions of the day, ...silks...satins...jewels or whatever they happened to possess. They were very smartly turned out, so that they made an impressive appearance on the streets where a large part of our work was conducted in the early years.
"It was not until long after, when former Holiness preachers had become part of us, that strict plainness of dress began to be taught.
"Although Entire Sanctification was preached at the beginning of the Movement, it was from a Wesleyan viewpoint, and had in it very little of the later Holiness Movement characteristics. Nothing was ever said about apparel, for everyone was so taken up with the Lord that mode of dress seemingly never occurred to any of us."
Quote from Ethel Goss (widow of 1st UPC Gen Supt. Howard Goss) book "The Winds of God"
I would join that march in a heart beat IF I thought I was part of 50 thousand marching. If things go bad I know there isn't enough padiwagon space to haul that amount of people. LOL My fear would be showing up and having 200 other people show up with you. . . . . now your part of a small group carrying in the 2nd most restricted carrying state of the Union.
My AR 15 is same weapon with the same number of rounds that our military uses so if they are effective for the military they will be effective for me.
Why do I "need" a semi automatic rifle with 30 round capacity magazines? There are several scenarios.
- If there is a breakdown of society either short term or long term for any reason (terrorist attack, natural disaster, etc) and I am one of the few people smart enough to have prepared with long term emergency food, etc for my family I will most likely be the target of desperate or ruthless people who did not. If I have a gang of a dozen people trying to invade my home or property having 30 rounds available in my rifle magazine could well mean the difference between protecting my family and dying.
- If because of some drastic breakdown as described above our Federal Government should fall and a dictator or foreign power take over I want there to be enough Americans with weapons to challenge that situation and restore democarcy

I think I read somewhere the neither open nor concealed are allowed? If it were me, I don't think I'd carry there, but would like to support them.

Just wondering. Since there are concealed weapon permits, is it true that non-concealed weapons are legal without a permit, in all the places that concealed weapons with permits are legal? E.g., can I walk down the street with a six-shooter holstered on my side, and a rifle slung over my shoulder?

Saw another excellent quote today regarding our constitutional right to own firearms. Had to share!
Quote:
..."I firmly believe, in accord with the founders, that our right to own firearms stands next in importance to the constitution itself. Firearms represent our liberty and are the keystone to our independence. I believe that an atmosphere of armed citizenry restrains evil — and deserves a place of honor and respect in our society next to the Constitution itself.
I absolutely uphold the right for individuals to keep and bear arms, a right which antedated the Constitution, and was solemnly confirmed by the Second Amendment of the United States Constitution. I have always supported and defended the law-abiding citizens’ God-given right to gun ownership, because self-defense is the key to maintaining: life, liberty and pursuit of happiness"... ~ Glen Glass, Delegate, Maryland

We rode him like a stick horse for two days on Twitter.
And, BTW, if I don't need to register a vehicle I drive on my private property, I don't need to register my guns that I own and store on my private property. Hear, Hear!!
