America is not the land or a people called by his name.
I am one of God's people. I am called by His name. I certainly can humble myself, pray and seek His face and turn from my wicked ways. And He will certainly hear from heaven, forgive my sin and heal my land. Unless of course you don't believe that ALL scripture is given by inspiration of God and ALL scripture is profitable for doctrine, for reproof, for correction, for instruction in righteousness (II Tim 3:16). If it's not ALL for me, then NONE of it is for me..."

Please correct me if I am wrong. Didn't you post that a person could go to heaven without being baptized in Jesus Name?

Just ordered some pizzas for my family and myself, this is our last weekend with our son before he leaves for Air Force Boot Camp in San Antonio Tuesday.

I wish your son the best, but you didn't answer. Do you believe one can go to heaven without being baptized in Jesus name?

I believe that when you repent you are forgiven. If you should die before baptism you'll go to heaven, otherwise you weren't forgiven. Baptism is an important next step among many next steps after salvation. Salvation occurs at faith/repentance/belief.

That's what I thought. So according to you one doesn't need his name or Spirit to be called his people. Romans 8:9
