Gary Johnson is probably on 50 state ballots. (not 100% yet, at least 47)

Goode is on 40 state ballots. 40 states still represents 470 electorates. It takes 270 to win.

So, even if nobody wins and the election is split, it is forced to a brokered convention (congress).

Today, this election - it is a win, lose or draw.

We have four outcomes.

1. Obama
2. Romney
3. A Johnson (Libertarian) or Goode (Constitution Party) win
4. Romney loses and the GOP runs to the conservatives to save it.

Even if the 3rd party guys don't win but register high numbers, it changes the future of politics.

So, in my opinion, today is the day to change the future no matter the outcome of the election.

There are many that are voting third party because they don't believe that Romney can win, and they don't want to throw away their vote. I happen to believe that Romney can't win, therefore, I will vote the Constitution Party. Our goal is to defeat Obama with a true Conservative in order to save our country.

Right now there is a lawsuit represented in every state to allow a write-in vote. The case, if the judge follows the law, must be heard within ten days of filing - today the case was filed.

We can't allow these two parties to hold us hostage to their whims. We must be a free people.
You've been saying that you believed Romney could win. Now you're saying he can't? How?

Look at the results of 3rd party candidates. Nothing. They certainly got Clinton elected. But as far as changing the system? Nothing. And nothing will en again this time. You may affect the outcome but you won't change the system.

I believe you and I both believe that EITHER candidate could win. I never said Romney would win, I said he could. Same with Obama.

Deacon, If at first you don't succeed, try, try again.... You know how it goes. We may not change the system, but the possibility arises in various occasions. I think it's best to keep the idea alive. After all, aren't we a free country?

And really, unless they plan on losing, can there possibly be another reason for forcing this guy in the GOP?

I don't know how anyone could, honestly, ask me to support this and continue down the road with the RNC. I would rather they lose over this.
