I guess we can say we have to elect Romney to see if he backpedals or rescinds all the promises he's already made on the campaign trail.

I've learned one thing. They don't care what we think once they get into office.

He was at that.

And he wrote executive orders that Obama can implement any time he wishes.

This is why I wonder out of what ...over 900 executive orders (that number might be debatable) Obama wrote...will Romney rescind any of them that are blatantly unconstitutional? Even go as far back as Bush's executive orders.

Or will Romney keep them all in place with the possibility of implementing Obama's executive orders if he gains the president seat?

However, some of these EOs are giving credit to Obama that he did not write. Some of the EOs were written during the Kennedy Administration. Obama may, however, implement these orders if he pleases.

There will be a lot of dictatorial powers coming along with the next presidency for whomever is in office to use.

I'm not so sure Romney will use them wisely.

Not so sure anybody will use those EOs wisely.

I totally disagree with you, but you obviously are liberal and not conservative as you say.

Bush was not perfect at all. But he was far from the worst president.

BO has surpassed Carter in that.

I am not obviously void of understanding but some people are so hard headed or so young they think they know it all.

Read my post you will see many reasons already given why BO is a horrible choice.

1. He wants to be a dictator. He "appoints" positions that is contrary to our congress.
2. He lied about everything he ran on except for change which he did not tell what that would be and people were to stupid to ask.
3. His BC has been proven to be a forgery but the media lets that slide.
4. He was not raised as an American, and it is obvious he is NOT an American.
5. He won't salute the flag and when he was called on it he and his wife saluted with their left hands instead of right.
6. His friends are socialist. He agenda is socialist.
7. He has given the American people a record amount of debt.
8. He wants a healthcare system that has a death penalty for the elderly.
9. He wants to appoint someone to set up a system for African American students. That is discrimation in a bold way.
10. He signed an executive order for illigal immigrants, yet when he was running for president he told his supporters he did not have that authority.

the list could go on and on.

Tell me what is wrong with voting for Romney because I simple don't like the way the country is headed under Obama? I know what I'm getting if I vote for Obama, but isn't there's at least a slimmer of hope for something better if I vote for Romney?

I know this is extreme, but should I not be allowed to vote against Hitler (if he were our president) simply because I believe our country deserves something better? BTW, I'm not calling Obama "Hitler". The point I'm making is that I think our country deserves better.

I'm not necessarily pro-Romney. He has his faults just like every other person that's ever run for the presidency. IMO, a "Christian" president is not a necessity. History has proven that the economy and general welfare has fared no better under "christian" leaders than "non christian" leaders.

It comes down to this for me:

1. Which candidate do I trust more to handle the current economic situation? Hands down it's Romney.

2. Which candidate is more likely to protect traditional American and christian values? Hands down it's Romney.

3. Which candidate is more likely to appoint supreme court judges that will protect traditional American values? Hands down it's Romney!
