Re: Governor Rick Perry

Nothing against women, if Bachman is the one I will vote for her. I don't know why, but I can't see a woman candidate beating Obama. Of course at the moment, I can't see any of them beating Obama.

Even on our forums we are all up in the air about who we have and what they are about as far as defining themselves. None of them have given any idea as to how they would get us out of this mess. Without a clear direction, people, I'm afraid, will fall back to Obama. People will embrace a change of direction, but will settle for a bad direction if no obvious new direction is offered.

Actually there is fasting and prayer out there by a few evangelicals. i read more from Bill Bright

he founded Campus Crusade for Christ. We do see more fasting and right after 9/11 there was not enough repenting.

Just looking at the facts and a poll out today. If they are a warm body, they may be able to defeat obama who has accomplished nothing and improved nothing. Last fall several governors won in liberal states and the elections were set to send Obama a NO message.

I didn't care for Mccain. I had read a lot about Gov Palin before mcCain even talked to her. She was running 80% approval rating in alaska before she was announced. The same reporters turned against her after it became nationally popular to do so.

Sometimes we vote for who we think will do the least damage.

You may not get to vote for president then in 2012.

As a means of saving a LOT of money,
let's omit elections in 2012 and just extend all currently elected federal officials 4 more years (or whatever their normal term is) in the same position with no increase in pay.
