Re: GOP President-in-the-Making....
Jindal not even a real candidate. It will probably be Newt, and if so Obama will go down like a sinking ship.

I gots a feeling that Obama might make two terms. Let me explain why.
He is going to try to do the same thing that Clinton did, trying for the same results.
Now that the Cons have control of the house there is going to be some balance in the government. Neither side is in control. There must be compromise. When that happens then things run smooth.
Obama is going to take credit for what essentially the Repubs have done, in balancing out the house. The economy is going to pick up next year, because of the confidence that Wall street has now that the Repubs are in control of one of the houses, and Obama is going to take the credit.
This just might win him another term.
What say you?

A Conservative Legislature made Bill Clinton look good and it got him a second term. I don't know if that will work for BHO but he has quickly worked out a "compromise" with the Republicans and he has had Bill Clinton appear at a press conference for him as a cheer leader.

I fear that we are stuck with BHO for another term.
I live in Ohio.
When I saw what ACORN was able to do here with the help of a Democrat state attorney general in 2000, I pretty much lost faith in the electoral system.

Re: GOP President-in-the-Making....
Haven't read the thread. I don't think Jindal is the one who will win the nomination. If the economy remains poor I think Mitt Romney stands a great chance of winning b/c of his business credentials. If Donald Trump runs, I think he would win easily b/c of his business acumen. Should Chris Christy run he would be an excellent choice b/c of his direct manner and his record pf making tough choices to cut spending.

Prays Huckabee can run and get some real political policy attention

Seriously, history proves to be on the side of the incumbent-- regardless of his party.

Unfortunately this is true with rare exceptions. But, this president and his presidency is rare, so there may be hope...and change.

He does make Carter look almost presidential in his dealings, and we know what happened to Carter.
