Come on folks, I don't care if he is president his remarks of late have been like a little kid that didn't get his own way. If we've got to answer for what we say, why doesn't he have to answer for all of his remarks?

When, oh when is Obama going to be held accountable for all he's done and all he's said. If he was a Republican the main stream media would have already....let's see.... hung him out to dry...wait I can't say that... okay... tarred and feathered him....Nope, can't say that! Got to be careful what I say but he can say anything.

Obama just said on TV "Yes we can!" Mr. President, we can say the same thing...."Yes we can!" And I hope and pray that Tuesday we start the first steps in fulfilling, "Yes, WE can!"

I didn't read your post before I posted...sorry.
My goodness, if the press wasn't still drooling over Obama his numbers would make Bush's approval numbers look something like what the deficit has become under Obama.
Nearly everything the right does is demonized by the press.
Thank God there's still a core of Americans left that believe in the Constitution and want to see it adhered to by these people that get elected.

Exhibiting your values of keeping it "fair and balanced" huh ?

Here's an in depth article about the president. Lengthy, but to the point. Good read!

But for Mr. Obama himself there is no road back to the charisma and political capital he enjoyed on his inauguration day.

BT, long is like two or more pages. One page isn't long. But, I see that you are aware of the attention span here. LOL!

I'm confused as to when you would have been relegated to the back of the bus if you are a white person.
I'm just saying that there is no way he doesn't know the connotation of repeatedly calling the first black President a boy. Back to my original point, I don't understand why someone of his stature would put black conservatives in this position when you already have to defend the racial neutrality of the conservative movement.

I didn't know that either. Now that it's been brought up, I think I vaguely remember a similar conversation awhile back, (seems like it was during the campaign) but I still wouldn't have picked up on it myself.

I'm with you Stew - - I don't understand why he would do it either.

I do understand the "back of the bus" statement applies to blacks, but apparently, he's using that as a throw back.

Re: Is The Right Trying to Make it Impossible...

Perhaps you will better understand my point given this scenario.

1. Party A has developed a reputation among women as being chauvenistic.
2. Woman A is a member of Party A and is often placed in the position of trying to convince other women that this perception is not true.
3. A female member of Party B becomes the first female President and "leader of the free world".
4. One of the most influential voices in Party A insists on calling the President a "little girl" (or something with a bit more historical significance)

Not the best position to put the women of the party in...

Re: Is The Right Trying to Make it Impossible...

PC has run amuck!
Juan Williams gets fired for expressing a "feeling", a genuine concern he holds, if we don't parse our words juuuuuust right, we're racists.
How about as Christians we think like what the Bible says and act out what Paul says is love.
I'll cut Obama slack by using the term get in the back of the car since his being black seems to make him think he has that right..(why else would he say it?), if others can use normal words.
Ah...I'll just cut him some slack anyway.
