Be warned, though, that we are a lively Church. Strong preaching and fervent worship seems to work just fine for us!

I would nnnneeeeevvvvveeeerrrrr consider showing up at your church. Unless you can give me your word you've run a certain relative off... (is she gone yet???)

Ladies and gentlemen,

there is more to this post than appears on the screen! Do not think that Steadfast is in the habit or practice of running folks off! Shame on you, Josh!

Actually, yes. Again. And I don't know why this time either!

You know, I actually feel sorry for her and have NO idea how to help her overcome herself. I sincerely tried to help her and, doubtless, will try to help her the next time she changes Churches and comes back.

The trouble is that, at her age, she needs to get things right. As odd as it seems I've never really figured out what those 'things' are, however, that bother her.

I love her. I do NOT understand her. Maybe if YOU would come preach for me I could invite her and YOU could fix her?

Right now that would be a good way to NOT have her show up for help. We all ride the roller coaster. pm incoming

I'm sorry, boss. Any pastor that can deal with said person is tough enough to handle any little problems and assumptions my post might cause!!!!

Boss... you left of the hogg part! You know I was just funning you while attempting to protect the reputation of our esteemed fellow laborer from the naysayers that love any indication that a conservative is abusive of his saints or aints!

For the record: this is a private matter that Steadfast and I joke about...to keep from weeping sometimes!...concerning a relative of mine.

He's been a good pastor to someone who doesn't often receive it.
