Will you pray with me and support a possible Newt Gingrich run for President???

If not, who are you supporting and why? Please share and let's all pray for all these men and their families.
What can I say? My jaw has hit the floor. The room is spinning around me.

I agree. And keep in mind, the guy was a fund raiser. It's his job to travel around and "glad hand" potential donors and even take them out for dinner and a show.

While I would have preferred that the "show" had been the new Jennifer Anniston movie and not the "club" that was featured in the news, I don't think it's too wise to attribute the whole affair to just Mr. Steele's predilections. His poor judgment certainly, but c'mon! I really don't think he went into that place alone.

His support of not only Steele, but also Boehner and McConnell are disappointing. Steele needs to resign. His misuse and abuse of GOP funds for personal use are inexcusable. Boehner and McConnell are adequate, but should not be Speaker and Majority Leader.

If he's on the ticket in 11/12, I'd vote for him, but I'd have to hear more from him to vote in the Primary.

Hey man,

You do realize that Steele has not misused or abused GOP funds for personal use?

Mike Huckabee, imo, is the only person who can give Obama a run for his money! Sarah Plain, Tim Plawenty and Mitt "the flip flop" Romney doesnt have a chance.

.
Newt has baggage. But with an image makeover he'll be fine. Newt is not afraid to get down and dirty and he's a conservative, that's one reason why I like him. However, the biggest reason why I like him is his policy work. The man is brilliant with it comes to policy writing and analysis. He is the orchestrator of the Constract With America and his book Winning the Future is a fantastic and inspiring read. He has more brains than Huckabee, McCain, and Palin combined.

Steele didn't go. In fact he wasn't there and didn't know about it. After the story broke Steele fired staff who organized the event and emplimented tighter spending rules.

if things continue on the current course, the republicans will be in the same shape the dems were in 2008.

so long as the Rs run someone who can walk and chew gum at the same time they will win.

All this depends on the economy being what it is now, and the deficit being what it is projected to be.

If Obama changes course, then all bets are off. We dont generally like to oust a sitting president.

and while Newt has some issues, Huck has his own. He is a preacher and that in and of itslef becomes a road block to the whitehouse these days.

Southern Republican Leadership Conference going on through tomorrow. Newt is great, I just don't always understand him. I didn't understand him during the Hoffman campaign.
