Frist of all lets get back to the question of why you think GWB matters any more? He is an Ex-President. We Americans like our Ex-Presidents to fade into history. Its that whole Anit-dictator thing we have going.

Second, Please remember that Clinton's surplus's were had two very important elements you seem to refuse to acknowlege.
1. The end of the cold war (we called it the peace dividend)

Oh and GWB spent way too much. He spent about 1/6 what The Obama is spending.

No offense Bro, but you don't get out of debt by creating more debt. The principle is the same whether it is our house or the country.

I don't for a second see this administration leaving the US in anything but a hole that it may never get out of.

First, its hard to take anyone seriously who supports BO when he sat under one of the most racist public figures in current memory in Jeremiah Wright for 20 years. To make GWB a racist by association because his mother said something that is assumed racist and give Barry a pass even though his pastor made very pointed racist remarks in his pulpit almost weekly is tansparently hypocritical.

Second, if BO's policies produces a surplus, Light, I will believe he is not only a messiah, I will believe he is the Second Coming of Jesus Christ! It aint gonna happen.

I was only commenting on the Katrina referrence, not on Bush wiping his hands on Clinton becuase someone else's hands were sweaty.

That Barbara Bush is a racist from that one comment is absurd...an elitist maybe, but even that comment does not make her an elitist.

Clinton cut a lot of money out of the Military budget and we were not spending huge sums of money keeping large forces in Iraq and Afghanistan. Clinton did not reduce the debt by raising it.
