I believe our civil wars are battled at the poles. Our society is one that is too interconnected for widescale civil war. You might see some small pockets of violent protest at the worst. Obama's policies are policies that can't be fixed or modified by later Administrations.

Re: 2nd US Civil War

One of the policies that is bothering me has to do with weapons and ammunition. Essentially they have opened the market and set policies in place that favor purchasing foreign ammunitions. But here's the problem. There isn't a set standard for ammunition manufacturers globally as there is for the production of weapons. You might purchase a certain caliber from Albania but it isn't going to be suitable for your weapon. Unless you KNOW that the ammuntion you're purchasing works well with your weapon it might jam or even damage the weapon when used.

This is a political strategy to force ammunition manufacturers into adopting a set global standard on ammunitions... opening the door for global regulations on ammunition. You see... they can't ban weapons... but they can make it extremely difficult to purchase ammunition.

I'm not sure if this is TIC, but here goes anyway.
What you call "mish mashy middle", balanced people call "balance". I have shown spine and made plenty of stands on plenty of issues here...many which were contrary to the general consensus of AFF. If your only definition of "taking a stand" is picking a President from a bunch of politicians who play games and mismanage the country, then I guess I'm incapable of taking a stand. I have been very clear about the type of person that I would like to see as President, or more to the point, the type of real power and control I would like to see the people have in our "democracy".
I'm never afraid to offend if offense is necessary, but I'm also never willing to offend if it is not.

You don't read very well do you? You keep trying to make this a democratic issue, when it is much more than just the democrats.

They are the ones "currently" leading the destruction of America. But all of this is led by behind the scenes rich people from around the world.

Do you believe the US will have another civil war?

If so, would you fight and which side would you be on?
Several points.

I don't think that the average American has the wherewithal to make such a stand anymore. Any freedom they possess these days is simply what is left over from a time when people made stands. They are not willing to purchase freedom. They want it for free and they will take whatever sorry excuse for freedom they are dealt as long as they don't have to earn it.

But... that being said.

Who can say what side until we know what the sides are?

There are a lot of "sides" which are still woefully inadequate and short of the mark.

Re: 2nd US Civil War

I will stand up and fight only when the government takes everything I own to disperse as they please. Hopefully, I will sell everything and move out of the country before that happens!

Socialism is hard to swallow and will seriously harm productivity in our country, but I don't think it's worth dying for to keep things the way they are!

If you were serious with this post, I also wonder what you feel my true colors are and why they would be offensive. I really don't get your post here.
