That is good reading.

I don't get to read as often as I'd like, so when I get the chance, I make it worthwhile. DB's books are good for people who are just trying to familiarize themselves with Apostolic basics. I was familiar with Apostolic basics at about age 6, and I could defend them with some level of expertise by about age 10. My Dad made sure I had all the major doctrinal scriptural passages memorized by the time I was in about 2nd grade.
I'm sure I'm not the only PK who looks for something beyond the same ol' same ol'. I'm not trying to slam DB; I already said I thought he was a good choice for GS. I'm just not thrilled with his books. (THE ONES I'VE READ, PO!!!!!) LOL!!!!!

So, really, I think that scripture was taken out of context. It is actually speaking of things that are beyond our control.

I have always thought that was a ridiculous scripture to use to prove that since that is exactly what you CAN do when you dye your hair.

I know! When I was a new convert, I pointed that out to my pastor. He was a little miffed when I started to laugh. I said, "That's not even what that scripture is talking about." LOL!
It doesn't take spiritual discernment for that one! LOL!

Not believing that Baron. He is a former college professor, a member of the State Bar of Texas, holds a doctorate of jurisprudence, a bachelor's degree in mathematical sciences and managerial studies and has studied Greek in seminary - not to mention he is spirit-filled. LOL!
There is no way the book could be bad.

As a child he was also a missionary to Korea, so I believe he speaks Korean as well, or at least did at one time.
