Re: Debra Medina-Texas Soveriegnty Or Secession Ra
She appears to also be talking about violence and the willingness to use it. I would just like to caution those who support what she is saying to ask yourself how you would feel if the same sort of rhetoric was being used by those whose positions you don't happen to agree with...i.e. homosexual activists, Black Panthers, etc...
As to the independence of Texas, I wonder how long it would take for Mexico to move to reclaim parts of a Texas independent of the United States.

Ha ha, I was avoiding mentioning that, but I am guessing it would'nt take Mexico all that long at all to decide they wanted Texas back.

Don't worry about Mexico par'dner. That cowboy in the video is gonna get on his horse and put together a nation of Texas army and protect their new sovereign nation down there.
No need of the Federal gov't and it's defense.

I agree that the man was a bit over the top in a public setting, but the fact remains that Texas will stand up and take the initiative, Mike.
When they tried to pass the Trans-Texas highway, the farmers, ranchers and residents stood up in the town meetings and said - NO - and some threatened to shoot anyone that stepped foot on their property. Guess what? That was de-railed giving new emphasis to - DON'T MESS WITH TEXAS.
The Mexicans haven't given Texas as much trouble as they have California because they know we will stand up and we will use our guns. It's just that simple. I'm not advocating secession, but I know that the people of Texas are not afraid. I'm proud to be a Texan!
