Re: Remember the Sabbath day
This past spring was the best wildflower year in decades... maybe ever. The drought last year followed by spring rains somehow made nearly perfect conditions. My son who got married last spring decided to have his wedding on the farm in the pasture surrounded by bluebonnets. Everyone stayed for hours after taking pictures in the flowers.
We drove up to through Mason through Fredricksburg go buy a cow and it was gorgeous. People were stopped all along side the roads just looking at the flowers. Fields of red and yellow followed by a virtual sea of blue... just awesome.
The drive up 59 north around Thanksgiving is fantastic for fall leaves.
We went to Huntsville state park last weekend. They have day rental horseback rides, paddle boats, camping, hiking, fishing. Just a nice place to get away for a day.
