What you typed above is the truth for you and I don't doubt it to be the truith for most on AFF who don't agree with the President every time he breathes....

It gets old reading and hearing unintelligent criticism of our President.

It gets older seeing the folks who are intelligent spewing their opinions in a way that foments opinions based on emotions and ignorance instead of thoughtful discussion.

What some folks on the right do is not any different than what farakhan did for YEARS spreading feelings of hatred, "we are the only ones who see the light", and victimhood mentality.

At least farakhan pointed his feelings of hatred openly and clearly to a broad group of people.

Hateful and ignorant of him, YES! But he is very educated, very intelligent and very open-- these are the nicest things you'll ever hear me say about this creep!

But many on the right hateful and ignorant, educated, intelligent and NOT OPEN about the real reasons for their discontent.

In typing this, I now understand how Sam and others have said about being afraid to criticize BHO for fear of being called racist. It's not my intent to call anyone racist for criticising the President.

I have strongly criticized our President!

But that fear of being called racist is unnecessary, should be non-existent, when your opinions are based on truth.

A lot of what I read and hear is NOT based on truth.

with the exception of the race card, everything you posted is true of the Liberals and has been true of then during Republican administrations. I say they are reaping the fruits of their own labor

I disagree.

I don't think it ever came across anyone's mind that Bush Jr, Bush Sr.'s life would be in danger.

Of our recent President's two people come to mind who's lives were/are in danger due to the nut jobs of our society:

Reagan

and

Obama.

And I may be wrong here, with both of these guys, the public sentiments were either love 'em or hate 'em-- not really any room for middle ground.

I get tired of the race card being thrown down in regards to BO. He is as much white as he is black.

I strongly disagreed with Bill Clinton and he is white.

I originally was a democrat and changed to over to the Republicans when the dems lost their original stand for moral issues.

I am losing confidence in the republican party as well and may go independent or libertarian if the party doesn't get it together.

Not sure what you are referring to as unintelligent criticism of the president???

Yes I approved of the way he governed he left the shrub (bush) a surplus and the shrub and his repugnant senators and congressmen wasted it with a war started by lies. Times were good; work was plentiful when Bill had the reigns.
