"Par for the course" is what is normal and acceptable for a particular situation. Example: "I get sick every time I travel." Answer: "That's just par for the course." "Par" on a golf "course" is the average number of strokes a golfer needs to get the ball in all the holes; "par for the course" is what is usual and expected. Example: "Things don't always work out as we want in life, and that's just par for the course; we do our best and go on." We should not get too bothered when things happen that are par for the course, because they are regular parts of life.

"Many Christians do not try to understand what was written in a verse in the Bible. Instead they approach the passage to prove what they already believe."
Folks, we are reading words from a singer who has experienced what Paul said would occur in people being given over that they might be damned who had not a love for the truth, to do things unreasonable and dishounouring his own body.

Daniel 12:3 And those who are wise shall shine like the brightness of the firmament; and those who turn many to righteousness, like the stars for ever.
Statistically, there are probably many who attend and read and even belong to this forum who are tempted with homosexuality. While we maintain homosexuality is a gross and vile sin, we must also show compassion and ensure we let everyone know Boltz needs prayer and God loves his soul. The SIN is wicked, but the man is caught in that sin and God loves the man.
Although I was never involved in that sin whatsoever, I am sure some here can attest to the fact that God delivers from homosexuality. However, Boltz knew God to an extent and fought homosexuality and now accepts it openly. I do not know if he has any hope due to that, but I pray as though he does and believe God to show him his error.

I know 4 people personally who were in the church had been baptised and once filled with the Holy Ghost who said they had fought homosexuality for years before they finally gave in. Things like "I begged God to deliver me" etc... and because the temptation wasn't lifted they finally gave in and the four I know personally who said these things are very openly gay now. One I sang in the choir with, now is "married" and has a son with his husband.
Homosexuality is not the worst of all sins but it sure is a powerful one when entertained.
And that said, people struggling with this need prayer and encouragement and accountability and in most cases they hide it instead.
I do pray for those I know who have gone this way, as I pray for those who've fallen into other sins.
It's very sad to me.
And as someone said "sick" it's truely "sin-sick".
