I guess I could care less about jean skirts other than it is just THE look (along with the 'poof') that has been adopted to let the world know that you (if you are of the female persuasion) are part of THE Church.
The follow up question is always, but what if you are a guy????? I guess "we" just have to let the fruits be love and compassion.
Welll just a couple verses wawy from Duet 22:5 is a verse tha deals with "materials". of course we just skip over that one, in fact we do as Paul instructed us and skip over 612 of the 613 laws of the Torah.
But for some reason 50 years some preacher thought he had license to aplly one of those laws to our women and make it a part of the gospel.
So you're not against women wearing denim, but preacher's preaching it is suddenly okay after 50 years of preaching it wasn't?

Have you ever seen a skirt that has been made from a pair of jeans? They are actually decent looking skirts.
I have scrub pants converted to skirts to wear to work. I don't like the scrub skirts because they make my hips look even wider than they already are. The skirts I have made from the scrub pants are more flattering. Believe it or not. In fact, ALL of the pentecostal ladies who work where I am employed prefer the skirts that are made from the pants--and will pay well to have someone remake the pants into a skirt. They are just look better than regular scrub skirts.

But some of the styles I have seen running around... I'd take the horrible poof and mid calf jeanskirts with bobby socks any day.
Someone put some jeans on skinny hairy man legs and a longer top over the belly fat that's hanging out over top of some women wearing thier hipster jeans.

My "inspiration" for this was the times we, as a youth group, went downhill skiing and all the girls/young ladies wore jean skirts over their snow pants. It was not a witness... it just looked dumb.

My Ma (of all people) bought me some jeans and their crotch was about 6 inches below where it should be. They are not quite hip hop style but I refuse to wear them.

My wife does not buy the abomination line, yet sees skirts as more modest and feminine. She does believe ladies should wear skirts.
