Ah no, I was in early & then called into the Boardroom by my boss & the owner & told they couldn't wait for me & have already replaced me.
I was given an option of one month's salary as compensation.
I have to let them know tomorrow.

What do you have to let them know? Doesn't seem to be a decision to make.

Okay - - wondered if there was anything legally you could do. I know here if you are on FMLA (Family Medial Leave Act) you cannot lose your job as long as you have not been released from a doctor's care. They have to hold a place for you to return.
