The news for me is it shocked me! It rattled me! To know that there are people who feel this way, are open about it in public, and are not publicly shunned makes me remember the stuff my Dad used to talk about, the stuff I've only read about in history.

Yeah I've had my share of racial stuff, (minor compared to what my Dad went through) but I've never seen anything like what I saw today-- never felt the way I felt when I saw it today.

For me, this is news.

Did you read paragraph 3 of the last article I referred to?

The link before was a link to a racially motivated hate crime in London, over a Sen. Obama t-shirt.

Because of the location-- where this stuff is happening.

I don't think you have to "expect" this every time someone criticizes Sen. Obama. He has been criticized by Democrat and Republican alike for the last 2 years-- nothing like this has happened (that I know of) because people really did not think this man would win.

There are a lot of folks who are nervous about Sen. Obama winning.

Most aren't nervous because of his race. But there is a significant amount of people who are nervous and his race has something to do with that nervousness.

What's being reported now is motivated out of hate.

It's impossible for me to ignore race (in these incidents), considering the facts.

Do you really think he is a Socialist?
If the answer is, "Yes", do you think that the U.S. Congress and the U.S. Supreme Court and the FBI, and the State and local governments would let our country go down that road?

I didn't even mention Fed, State and local Law Enforcement agencies-- they would all have to agree to allow something of such magnitude happen.

And our military leaders would have to go along with it too....

Bottom line, Sen. Obama is not a Socialist-- even if he was, our country will NOT become Socialist because of one man.

The "Socialist" talk is a scare tactic used by folks on the Right. I don't buy into it.

Not bringing up race as it would apply to you personally as to why you're not voting for Sen. Obama.

But it is clear that race is playing a factor in the minds of many folks-- including the folks who are spouting the hateful venom I'm referring to.
