I should love Obama. I have always been in the middle class and his plan may put me in the wealthy class as far as taxes are concerned. I'll get to pay more because it is my Patriotic obligation.

No joking I voted Democrat until Ronald Reagan and for the same reason your folks did. I was born near the beginning of the depression and my folks thought Roosevelt was the savior of mankind. My mom thought Jimmy Carter was the greatest. If only they could see what has happened to their beloved party now.
SOUNWORTHY, my father, who is almost ninety years of age, is voting Republican for the first time in his life! Now this is a man who would almost fight for Bill Clinton, and wanted Hilliary to be president!

I think a lot of the old time Democrats will be voting for McCain when they get behind the curtain. They love our country, have ALWAYS been proud to be an American, and some have spilled blood for it. They might be for 'change', but not the kind of change BHO wants for our country.

I believe there will be many voting like this and that's what the polls aren't showing - they are going by "the way it usually goes".

This was totally uncalled for. I will suggest to the admin team that we not only ban this user, but ban their IP address so they cannot access the forum under any of their nick names.

Re: I'm Still a PROUD DEMOCRAT

i hope everyone reads and understands sam's post, it should be the post of the day on this whole forum. Because that is what is happening in this country, that is the exact reason jobs are going over seas.

Then the democrats demonize the corporations for going overseas, just like barney franks and pelois demonizes the republicans for their own disruptive financial policies.
