You was right Deacon Blues! She did it! She kicked his old wrinkled Butt!
I was in route in the car going to a meeting and missed some of it but she has once again turned the tide around! Go Girl!
Biden came across almost like he wants to lose - just dry and ho hum.
The one thing I like about her is she is almost neither a Republican nor a Dem which a lot of us are weary of the 2 party system. she comes across as real...one of us

1) The tone of the debate was civil and I liked that. Gwen Ifill was the fair, objective moderator that I thought she'd be.
2) There were no major gaffe's by either one.
3) Sarah Palin did much better in this setting as most thought of us thought she would.
4) I thought she did a good job of tying Biden to his Iraq vote.
5) She still struggled to answer questions and stay on topic. She wasn't interested in talking about nuclear interventionism and steered completely clear of the change in bankruptcy laws.
6) Biden did a good job of tying McCain/Palin to GWB on the issues. He highlighted the fact that he "didn't hear a plan" on an exit strategy from Iraq.
7) All in all, I think this was a draw. I can't see that either one actually out and out won the debate. That's good news for Sarah Palin and the base I think given the expectations going in. I'm not sure this will make any difference in the long run and effect the polls at all. In that sense, given his current position, that's bad news for McCain.

Thank God Sarah did so well tonight!!! She was authentic and showed that she can certainly connect to the common folks and hold her on with the Old Timer of DC.

To God be the Glory!
Lol! I don't know about that, but she did an amazing job for her first national debate!
1) The tone of the debate was civil and I liked that. Yes
2) There were no major gaffe's by either one. Yes
3) Sarah Palin did much better in this setting as most thought of us thought she would. Absolutely
4) I thought she did a good job of tying Biden to his Iraq vote. Absolutely
5) She still struggled to answer questions and stay on topic. She wasn't interested in talking about nuclear interventionism and steered completely clear of the change in bankruptcy laws. I noticed that and especially on a voting issue with McCain on the Nuclear. Can't remember the point.
6) Biden did a good job of tying McCain/Palin to GWB on the issues. He highlighted the fact that he "didn't hear a plan" on an exit strategy from Iraq. Totally don't agree with you on this one. My sense was that he was not doing a good job of tying them with Bush. She also answered the question later on the exit strategy and was more in line with what the people want to see.

I don't believe it was a draw. Palin was in the house!!!!!!!
