Re: Gov. Sarah Palin's acceptance speech

She gives a great speech and is an able communicator. No questions there.

Somewhere tonight though the Obama campaign is licking their lips. From what I gather, she's in support of the unending commitment in Iraq, drilling more oil wells, and tax cuts for corporate America and the top 5% because it'll trickle on down to the middle class.

Not one mention of the major economic trouble. Not one mention of the home foreclosure crisis. Not one mention of helping those who don't have health insurance coverage or other issues American's are concerned about.

She, once again, highlited to the American people, almost position by position, point by point, how close a McCain-Palin ticket would resemble four more years of Bush-Cheney. I think the Obama Campaign is smiling.

Mitt Romney covered that portion. He gave an excellent speech.

Re: Gov. Sarah Palin's acceptance speech

I told my husband that "She hit it out of the ball park"...Then Wolf Blitzer actually said those words about a minute later.

She was great!! Those CNN folks don't know how to take this. A tough woman who is feminine - but not a feminist.

She asked, "What is the difference between a hockey mom and a bull dog?...Lipstick...lol

She can "smile while she is putting the knife in" according to Anderson Cooper. Even Campbell Brown is "touched by Sarah Palin" talking about her family. What's next? Sarah Palin is a winner in the hearts of America if she does not win the VP office.

Go Sarah!!!

Re: Gov. Sarah Palin's acceptance speech

Piper is hysterical.... She was like totally the show stealer when they were on the stage LOL...

It was kind of funny at the end when He asked them if they thought he made the right pick for VP... My husband said I think he is probably thinking... Well I am afraid to ask this cuz they may want her for president and McCain for VP LOL

Yes...Now I can have some enthusiasm about voting for McCain.

That is the best political speech I have ever heard ...Well, maybe one from Reagan might be comparable! She came across as authentic but strong. She was called Sarah Barracuda in high school as a point guard. She may have to be McCain's "attack dog" as Biden is Obama's "attack dog"...
