Just think, if we weren't so liberal, you guys wouldn't have received such a boost in attendance a couple years ago. See - we're good for something..

Great. Well, I guess we'll have to delay our plans to provide sprinkling baptism for infants....

You are so bad!!!!! Nah... I know a lot came over... and we have since begun growing by leaps and bounds... had 50 people like 8 yrs ago and now over 1000 and growing... Not to mention all of our daughter works. I know God has good things in store...
As for your church. I do not want anyone to think I am bashing AL... I love that church so much. I did a lot of my growing up around there... friends family and life... I never attended there but well.. if you knew me you would understand the situation. And No matter what that will always have a place in my heart.. someone talking down on AL is like someone bashing Christian world. Neither one of them are what God has in store for me spiritually but I love those churches and will never do a thing to tear them down... besides... AL has one of the most awesome drama directors in the world!!! And I just realized.. its not called AL anymore right?! ROFL having flashbacks here!

I know you're not bashing. I love ALC (we added a "C", I guess) - and am not ashamed of where we stand on anything. I wouldn't have it any other way. I do appreciate the kind words. I likewise have always felt welcome when attending the Garland church (particularly for my niece's baptism).
By the way, you should definitely try to come to our Saturday Night Life event in October. If that doesn't get an eyebrow raise out of you, I don't know what will

Praisehim is a Her? Lol
I'd say it depends a lot on where you sleep. It's possible to drive 150 miles round trip to church in DFW.
