I think he was nutted up before it became official...

Although I've been known to rant against "CCM" a time or two myself ... but for much different reasons, I'm sure. I just find most of it boring 'evil'... not ungodly evil.

Years ago- I was at a big so called "Apostolic" (Anti-UPC) meetin' and a Pastor from South Florida ranted like a crazy maniac about CARMEN and said they ought to run over his tapes with their cars. He had them poor people so worked up - I thought they would leave there and go burn down a Charismatic Church!
He was having a problem at the time and has since uhhhhhhhh - had more problems and is not there pastoring any longer. I hope that is a little better wording.

I have read what Sam quoted out of that book many, many times. The page numbers might be different from hardback to paperback, but those words are there.
