How un-american!! The government was afraid people would do just what you said. Then no businesses will be helped and the "stimulus" goes flat.

It should not be the government's biz how I spend MY refund. Including property tax, I payed over 20k in taxes last year... so if they give 2k "back" they should have no dibs on the dough.

To help the economy in Canada please remit 5% of your stimulus cheques to Ronb in Vancouver. 
I will do my best to make sure it is used to help stimulate the Canadian economy! 
I'll go across the border and shop!
