-He spent about 7 years as an aissistant or associate pastor to Kenneth Phillipis at Promiseland Church in Austin. From about 1998 or 1999 until around three years ago when he moved to Nashville where he evangelizes from.

He often visits back to minister at KP's Promiseland church and KP has been trying to get him to come back full time.

John is married to a beautiful wife, Kristen, and has a couple of young boys.

John is one of the most talented individuals I have ever met. He sings great, preaches great, and married great!!!

It was John Ragsdale who "co-starred" with Randy Phillips on the praise and worship telecast "The Awakening" for several years that aired on TBN and INSP Christian television networks.

John ministers in many different churches, both Oneness and not.
That is the John Ragsdale I know...

His web site says he believes that Jesus is sitting at the right hand of God waiting to come back. So much for the oneness.

He ministered today at Champion Life Centre in Spring, TX. He is definitely an awesome evangelist.

John is very much Oneness. And a great evangelist/psalmist/prophet.

I wish I could have seen him this morning, but it was just the 10AM service and I have obligations at ROL.

You must be joking about someone not being Oneness if they believe Jesus is sitting on the right hand of God, right?

Mr 16:19 So then after the Lord had spoken unto them, he was received up into heaven, and sat on the right hand of God.

Lu 22:69 Hereafter shall the Son of man sit on the right hand of the power of God.

Ac 7:55 But he, being full of the Holy Ghost, looked up stedfastly into heaven, and saw the glory of God, and Jesus standing on the right hand of God,

Ac 7:56 And said, Behold, I see the heavens opened, and the Son of man standing on the right hand of God.

Ro 8:34 Who is he that condemneth? It is Christ that died, yea rather, that is risen again, who is even at the right hand of God, who also maketh intercession for us.

Col 3:1 If ye then be risen with Christ, seek those things which are above, where Christ sitteth on the right hand of God.

Heb 10:12 But this man, after he had offered one sacrifice for sins for ever, sat down on the right hand of God;

Heb 12:2 Looking unto Jesus the author and finisher of our faith; who for the joy that was set before him endured the cross, despising the shame, and is set down at the right hand of the throne of God.

1Pe 3:22 Who is gone into heaven, and is on the right hand of God; angels and authorities and powers being made subject unto him.

That post you reference astonished me also. If Rags is a trinitarian for saying that then the Bible is triitarian because it says the same thing.

Of course that is one of those scriptures that many Oneness folks are uncomfortable with so in all fairness perhaps the poster was not familiar with it.

Does God have a literal right hand?

Re: Brief History of John Ragsdale ?

No I am familiar with the scripture, however based on what I read from his belief statement on his web site "He ascended into heaven and sits at the right hand of God the Father Almighty, from where he will come again" that he believes Jesus is literally sitting at the right hand of God. This is not what a typical oneness believer would state in his belief statement.

Now, I don't know him as many on here do so I can't say for sure, so I defer to those that do know him. It was simply an observation that may have been hasty on my part, but still..it seemed odd.

How do you rationalize the many scriptures Miz listed above?

He does through Jesus.
