Re: Are you Catholic or Protestant?

Did it ask "do you believe in three gods or one?"
Any "protestant" that answers could be said to be catholic.

"Do you believe in the Nicean Creed"?

You are a catholic

It's not you. It's the skewed test. They wrote it and the answers according to their own personal bias

I have read somewhere that some folks think that Pentecostalism will bridge the gap between the Catholics and Protestants and possibly reunite the two.
Dude, anyone who doesnt accpet the Dan/Carlton position that all the work was done at Calvary for all of us and we cant/dont have to do anything believes in works.

even those who repent have "worked."

Did you see me advocate works as part of salvation?

BTW that is a loaded question too since anyone with half a brain SHOULD advocate works as PART of salvation, not "In order to be saved". You can't be saved and not have works if works are evidence of our faith and salvation.

I read somewhere that some people think little green men are going to come to earth and their leader will be the anti-christ...I don't give a hoot what some people think

Re: Are you Catholic or Protestant?

Was Martin Luther a protestant? He believed in infant baptism and baptismal regeneration

Quit confusing these people with the facts!

I will tell you it saddens me to see Apostolics being all giddy about identifying with mainstreme protestantism... or catholisim for that matter.

very sad in deed.

I have played to the absurd today in these doctrine threads but in this I am serious. I am truely saddened by the turn of events I see here with this glee to make Apostlics either "get right" and by typical protestants or toss Apostolics in the hersey closet with the whore of babylon.

Seems to me that the protestants are the daughters of the whore. have we forgotten that?

wait, there i go with that dispensationalist/post trib mumbo jumbo.

Im lost anyway.

Prax, today is a sad day for me.
