If you are anywhere near Memphis, you might want to go to wmcstations.com They are saying the tornado it now right over Poplar & Germantown Parkway....

We just had a tornado go northwest of town heading for the area between Martin and sharon. Just got word of another one heading this way.

We do not have a basement, so we have left the house and are now at the church if we need to go to the basement. I am in the office where I have plugged this here computer device (how's that for an Indiana boy in TN?

Not having a basement is bad.

If I here one is heading directly for town, I will be on the porch of the church for sure.

Ok, we are in the clear temporarily. However, according to weather.com's radar, there are storms near Memphis producing tornadoes. These are moving northeast and will affect us at some point.

According to the NOAA wether radio, a large tornado is being tracked by spotters northeast of Bartlett (east Memphis area).
