Re: My Journey to Tulsa- By SS
This is sorta blast from the past. SS has been quite the 'letter writer' over years.
I have heard the first hand accounts of his radio broadcast that aired just after NAU/JNL. He would argue and refute what they said and then meet them for lunch afterward.
Interesting none the less.
As a side note . . . he is Ruth Reiders brother.

Re: My Journey to Tulsa- By SS
"Seven speakers were scheduled to deliver 15 minutes presentations, beginning with T.L. Craft, the
violator of all clocks and time mechanisms when it comes to the pulpit, or anything else for that matter.
He began with a wisecrack about his two wives, Mary and Martha. Mary is now dead, but he suggested
that he himself was the Antichrist, because Mary never sat at his feet and Martha didn’t know how to
cook."
Poor Sis. Mary Craft. She can't even catch a break from her DH even in DEATH! He was forever picking on her from the pulpit, especially when she announced that she was going to start her own morning devotional radio program. I remember that like it was yesterday. He was surprised when she actually did it. None of us students were surprised at all. She had some gumption, she did!
Can't believe TLC criticized his new wife on not being able to cook. That boy's gonna be in the dog house for a year!

His new wife may not be able to cook very well, but she's one of the sweetest ladies you'll ever meet!

Re: My Journey to Tulsa- By SS
I would hate to have a husband that would make wisecracks about me from the pulpit..

Met her at the JCM reunion. I thought she was a sweet person. Sad that TLC thinks it's funny to criticize his wife from the platform...guess that doesn't hit my funny bone to well.

Trying to convert him.

If you have enough money you don't need to cook well
